The Ice Bucket Challenge

So apparently this fad originated in America where people wanted to raise awareness of ASL. And Halo Byrd was challenged on DA to do the challenge. The Ice bucket challenge has hit Germany and many other countries in Europe, as well. I see famous German Athletes doing the challenge and even Chancellor Merkel was challenged but she never did it.

I refuse to do it because of the methods practiced by the ASL research labs. Honestly, there are better ways to research a cure for this disease other than insulting the dead bodies of children. How do I know this? I have reliable resources. In my personal past, I could have been one of those children, since I was conceived outside of marriage (I suppose this makes me a bastard child). The church my parents went to called me a sin and advised my mother and father to abort me because my existence was "dishonouring to God". But they didn't abort me despite the pressures of legalism and filthy rags of the Western Christian Church. I also don't like blindly donating to institutions. I prefer being well aware of what is going on, especially when someone comes up with fund raising for a "good cause". It's the good intentions you want to be aware of, since good intentions mostly result in terrible consequences. Trust me, I know. 
So just as you all want to raise awareness of the ASL disease, believe me, I'm well aware, and I'd like to raise awareness of omission.

In conclusion, no, Halo is not doing the challenge. Non of my characters are doing this challenge, because Halo refuses to do it. Also, I refuse to do it and I refuse to donate. Even before I knew about the truth behind the ASL research labs, I did not feel God telling me to donate and this has nothing to do with my own skepticism.  (Also I have no money right now).    I am not trying to sound mean by saying no. I hate the fact that we live in a fallen world and such, but I refuse to put my faith in mankind's methods of cures. These are not excuses, these are reasons. Thank you and have a blessed day.
