WW1, the trenches. That day on Dec 25th, in my opinion, was a Christmas miracle. Both enemies put aside their war obligations and celebrated Christmas together! I wish i could've seen it! English and German men laughing, singing and drinking, exchanging stories of back home, cigars and the Germans (hint hint we're awesome) brought Cake! just celebrating Jesus' birth. It's such a shame they had to start shooting each other again Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Fröliche Weinachten!
Joyeux Noël was a great movie based on this story
One of the Best moments ever in the history of mankind.
I remember this story...good stuff. One of my favorite events from WWI...even before I got into Leviathan and its Alternate-Historyness.
such a shame no one does that anymore. ah well, war is war
i learned about this in school after ww1 everyone came together and celebrated like old frends. war shouldnt b personal. nice pic
it was awesome! not the war, the celebrating Merry Christmas!
i no its kinda funny. they all started partying together. oh and merry christmas and happy holidays
in my opinioni think ww1 was more interesting. everyone does ww11 buy hardly anyone knows about ww1
